Norwex Review-MLM Cleaning Products-Shades of Amway Save Me

norwex review
Norwex, is a Norwegian MLM company that touts its miracle cleaning products through a network of independent distributors, is still growing and to date shows no signs of slowing down. The company was founded in 1994 in Norway, and it has gained customers and consumers around the world, becoming popular for its unique cleaning and personal care products that have made it a household name in some communities. Viking marketing from Norway to North America First founded in Norway, Norwex has accumulated a following of more than 20,000 distributors, and expanded into multiple international markets including North America in 1999. Now let’s face it, cleaning products don’t have a lot of sex appeal, but somehow these cleaning products whose main product promo seem to be that they both safe and effective, seem to have struck a cord with some in the home business industry. MLM cleaning rags, what’s next? Now Norwex products are not what you would expect from a MLM cleaning products company, the main thrust of the product line are the Norwex “Microfiber Cleaning Products”, which are according to the company website, an almost magical product that goes beyond "surface clean" with the innovative use of silver particles integrated into synthetic microfiber cloth. Norwex recommends that you use the Microfiber cleaning cloths and clean using “water only” and that those silver microfibers will do a better and safer job without any chemical cleaners. Shades of the MLM dark past, it almost sounds like the ill-fated “Laundry Ball” that was touted by an MLM company that industry legend Jim Fobair started years ago. In that company the “laundry ball” was supposed to take the place of laundry detergent through the clever use of magnets to create an electro-static charge in the water, aligning the molecules and causing the dirt to just fall out. Actually Norwex has one of these also, which they appropriately call a “Magnet Ball”. Oh well I always liked the idea even through it was never really clear that it actually worked. The second branch of the Norwex product line is comprised of Organic Personal Care Products, and of course in the personal care line they also have these silver microfiber towels and washcloths etc.

Norwex Products – Clean Your House Then Clean Your Face!

Now with the personal care products, Norwex goes beyond the cleaning rags and offers soaps and shampoo products that carry the organic and safe product focus. The literature states that they offer a modern approach to the personal care regimen that involves “deep cleaning” of the skin and that attempts to leave customers as clean as the Norwex cleaning products may leave their houses. Norwex cleaning up after accusations Norwex recently got the negative spotlight focused on them when the company found itself being accused of propagating a large scale scam with their products and marketing approaches. According to the accusations, Norwex was not actually selling products, but instead just sellingstarter kits for $200 dollars. Good grief you regulators, grow up! That’s a lame claim from the 1960’s before people ever understood MLM Norwex made the regulators happy when the company clarified that actual products were indeed being sold, and that these products were complimented with a free starter kit to enhance the sale of the products and the buyers experience in using them. The company also said that these kits were used – alongside real products, not instead of them – to motivate sellers toward action, and to inspire them towards the types of sales that Norwex wishes for anyone venturing forward with the company. The kits were used to help foster a team attitude among sellers, and to continue growing the Norwex brand. The company said that with these starter kits, the distributor is able to gain credibility and knowledge of the products, and they have the chance to endorse the products on their own before selling them to others. These also help the distributors to maintain their distributor status every three months, which they must do by earning at least $250 over this period. Sounds like a sensible Norwegian way to respond. Take that your regulators! So the big question, can you actually make money with Norwex? Now the Norwex business model is not exactly mainstream. It is actually a throwback to the old days of the Network Marketing home party plans. However even in today’s high tech market where recruiting is done worldwide without ever meeting your prospect except to maybe view them on Skype, the home party plan is still alive and well.

Norwex Compensation Plan

Norwex Distributors can make up to a 35% commission for product sales and distributors can also earn free products once they have sponsored another distributor who sells at least $2,000 worth of products in their first 90 days. There are also bonus programs for the business builders. Future prospects? Well from all appearances the company is solid, I mean it’s been around for over 18 years, and the product niche (home cleaning products) is huge and the product is unique (Silver microfibers), so I would have to say they are a pretty safe bet for a home business. Now keep in mind that distributor cultures vary dramatically from company to company and to succeed in Norwex I am sure your upline is pretty much going to have you do the home party plan approach. Now although I am not a personal fan of the home party plan approach to network marketing, there are a number of companies that have used it successfully over the years and many of the distributors really like the personal nature of this type of sales. Keep in mind however that your warm market list is only going to take you so far and when you have blasted through that, unless you learn some other marketing strategies to power your Norwex business and generate new leads you are going to be out of gas. So if your goal is to generate a big income with a company like Norwex, you are going to have to have to have a powerful marketing strategy to sponsor a lot of reps. The bottom line is of course that no matter what MLM you build you need to power your success with a lot of leads rather than relying on the remote chance that you will find a killer producer in your warm market or lurking around the grocery store. The best way to do that in today’s market is to learn how to use the internet to leverage your business and generate leads. There are several very good MLM online marketing systems such as My Lead System Pro that can give you the boost you need to map your course to top earner status.

Ambit Energy Review - Ambit Energy Scam Complaints? - Why?

The Ambit Energy scam? I saw this online the other day when I was doing some MLM company research. I had run into Ambit in the past and Ambit Energy seemed to be a pretty strong MLM in a unique billion dollar market that seemed pretty squeaky clean but there it was, someone referring to it as the Ambit Energy scam. So what's up with that?
That of course is the question of the hour and why I sat down to do an in depth critical review of this new network marketing company that is taking a run at the energy deregulation market in the US, but as with any successful network marketing company they are starting to get some heat (no pun intended) and are generating a few Ambit Energy Scam Complaints.
ambit energy scam
You know there is so much negativity floating around our world on a daily basis that I work to keep my head straight by trying to only focus on the positive, however over the last few years I had run across a few newbies to the world of MLM that were either totally excited about Ambit or they were angrily calling it the Ambit Energy scam.
Now as you can probably imagine, there are so many new MLM companies that enter the market each year, and there are so many that die off so quickly that I usually hold off at least 20 minutes or so before I take to time to do an in-depth critical review, but since Ambit Energy has been around since 2006 I knew it was time.
First let’s get the get the details out of the way so we can dig into the really interesting stuff like “business model” product viability.
Ambit Energy
Ambit Energy is based in Dallas, Texas and is the brainchild of the founders, Jere Thompson and Chris Chambless and according to the company website, …”Ambit Energy was founded in early 2006 at a Potbelly’s restaurant in Addison, Texas over a couple of turkey sandwiches”.
Now since Ambit Energy was doing something over $325 million in revenue only 3 years later, I now know exactly where to go when I am going to start my next company “Potbelly’s Restaurant”, it must be good luck.
Ambit Products
Ambit has decided to target a slightly tricky market that several other MLM companies have not done too well with, energy deregulation.
Ambit's products are pretty simple actually, electricity and natural gas.
The company’s marketing concept is also pretty straight forward, you are already spending money for basic utilities, why not just buy them from us and save money?
Seems pretty simple so why not?
I theory it’s a good concept so it seems like is should work like gangbusters right? Well it’s that simple business model that has attracted droves of distributors over the last few years but as many MLM hopefuls soon learn, what seems simple in concept can me a little more difficult in actual practice.
I can see how a new distributor can think it’s going to be a pretty easy process to get all their friends and neighbors to switch their utilities but when it turns out not to be quite that easy then the want to brand Ambit Energy as a scam.
So why wouldn’t everybody just switch? Well, probably 2 reasons, resistance to change and not a big enough savings to make it a priority.
It’s kind of like when phone service was deregulated years ago, it was exciting for a while but then you got so tired of dozens of companies pitching you on it, it was overload and you no longer wanted to hear about it anymore no matter what the savings.
Now it looks as if Ambit Energy is trying to overcome some of this customer reluctance by offering new customers a bonus giveaway. The currently offer a travel voucher good for a FREE 3-Day/2-Night stay for two at a 3-Star hotel at one of 25 exciting destinations nationwide.
Wow, change your utilities and go on vacation!
Now I see this as a good marketing move, paying or bribing your customers actually works if the offer is strong enough. Cell phone companies have been doing this for years with free or discounted cell phone giveaways and I have even recently seen banks actually offering to pay you $100+ in cash to open a new account.

The Ambit Energy Scam??

Now since some people found that its a little harder than they thought to sign up customers and build the business, and this is probably where the company negativity chimes in with people angrily calling it the Ambit Energy scam.
Look any business requires work and diligence but even with a good product its not a cakewalk, you just have to learn the best ways to do it.
One limitation on the Ambit product side you should be aware of is that Ambit’s market is limited to just a few states. They currently can only offer service in Texas, New York, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Now of course you can sign up if you are in other states but it’s going to be kind of hard to get your required customer base so that you can collect commissions.
Ambit Energy Compensation Plan
The company uses a type of MLM unilevel compensation program that pays a Fast Start bonus when you sign someone up for the basic $429 new distributor package, and the also pays bonuses on two other types of production, new distributor signups in your group and customer product usage over-rides.
The company compensation plan literature shows that you are paid as deep as the legs go once you reach a certain rank or level of success.
Now to qualify for commissions you pretty much have to get customers which of course is good for the company but can be annoying for distributors.
If you are a major business builder in the network marketing industry you pretty much know it’s not about selling the product, it’s about selling the opportunity and building a team. I have seen this acquire customers tactic before in MLM companies who market products where they pretty much have to get customers to power the long term company cash flow such as telecom or technology. Big Planet, a MLM technology division of NuSkin used this same approach. However this focus on customer acquisition I am sure has kept some big players away, who just are not into being retailers.

So should you be swayed by Ambit Energy scam complaints or is Ambit Energy just a squeaky clean MLM with a unique product?

Well form my research, there is no Ambit energy scam and from all appearances looks to be a very good company. They are also a member of the Direct Selling Association or DSA and it takes at least 2 years and a company review by the DSA before they will even let you join.
So it looks like they pass the test, so why are angry distributors referring to it as the Ambit Energy scam?
Well many times the wealth building aspects of the network marketing business is just a tiny bit oversold.
Did I say “tiny bit”?
Well let’s be honest, the get rich quick angle has always been there in MLM. Some people just oversell how quickly you can achieve success and the $10,000 checks.
So when people enter the MLM business and figure they are going to be rich and famous in 60 days and then suddenly there realize how its really work, and its going to take time, all of a sudden its no longer the greatest deal in the universe, its a scam, and that's probably where the Ambit Energy scam came from.
Now the distributors are not the only ones who over inflate how easy the business is, MLM companies are also at fault since they always showcase examples of MLM success from within the ranks and usually pick people who have had rapid success in just a few months.
Keep in mind that in a Standard MLM business model, success takes time, and the average time to build a $10,000 a month income stream is probably 12 to 18 months or more.
Now of course there are other business models that get you to the money quicker such as Top Tier MLM but keep in mind, “there is no free lunch” (that’s what they taught me in economics in college). MLM is a business and a very high paying one so it’s worth the time to master it an build it.
Now even though most MLM’s today still teach some variation on old school MLM marketing approaches such as making a list of friends and family or chasing people down in grocery stores, I have always found success comes much quicker and with less aggravation if you learn some simple marketing approaches and build your lead flow up so you are not constantly chasing luke warm prospects around.
Now since Ambit’s services are just in a few states it’s even more important to use approaches such as online marketing to be able to specifically target just the market you are after.
So if you are ready to take your business and income to the next level you need to learn how to use the internet to leverage your business. Today there are hundreds of millions of people online and many are probably looking for a business just like yours, imagine for a moment just being able to reach out an tap just the smallest fraction of that huge traffic and bring it to your business.
Exciting thought isn't it?
The good news is that you can learn how to use the internet as a tool and generate tons of leads to power your business by using powerful Online Marketing Systems that will teach you how to use the internet as a powerful resource for your business.
When I first started using online marketing systems I generated over 3000 leads, sponsored over 50 new reps and generated over $30,000 in affiliate commissions in just a few months. For a inside look at some of these powerful marketing strategies check out my free Video Training Bootcamp "

Xocai MLM Company Review - Sweet Deal Or Major Dead End?

xocai-info
A recent entry to the MLM industry Xocai is betting that the sweet tooth consumers have for chocolate products when combined with financial opportunity will be the killer one – two punch that drives the company to MLM mega growth. Now over the years I have been in MLM I have seen just about every type of product from 3-d cameras to panty hose promoted, but chocolate? The business opportunity from Xocai products is all about a popular product, chocolate. This chocolate is promoted as extremely high in healthy antioxidants, and it is marketed through an MLM program. Here are things of interest about the program and the corporation.

Xocai - The Company

Founded in 2004 MXI Corporation manufactures and markets the Xocai products. The President and co-founder of the corporation is Jeanette Brooks. Jeanette has a successful history with other corporations, as well as an extensive teaching education. She has founded Pure De-Lite Products, Yurika Foods, and Phoenix International Corporation. The CEO and co-founder of Xocai is Andrew Brooks. He has a Masters in Business Administration and in Spanish. His interest in developing weight loss products for those with diabetes has been a driving force in his successful sales and marketing career. He is also the co-founder of Pure De-Lite Products. Xocai Products The Xocai chocolate products are promoted as a healthy chocolate product, but they are also enhanced with other beneficial ingredients such as blueberry and acai berry. These berries are very high in antioxidants, which help the body in many ways. As your cells work they use oxygen. However, this oxygen eventually breaks down and destroys cells before their time. Antioxidant compounds help to prevent cell break down and this good for the immune system and promotes weight loss. It would stand to reason of course that Xocai chocolate products would be simple to sell. Almost everyone loves chocolate and customers can select solid chocolate items like squares and peanut butter cups. The company also offers chocolate packs and drinks. All products are free of preservatives and safe to eat.

Xocai Compensation Plan

Xocai uses a Hybrid-Binary type Network Marketing compensation plan. In today’s MLM market more and more companies are using this beefed up variation of the standard MLM binary comp plan. A hybrid-binary is a blend of using a Binary and a Unilevel compensation plan at the same time for paying bonuses. The binary part of the Xocai comp plan is pretty standard and allows you to only have 2 open positions below you so when you sponsor someone you place them in either the left or the right leg and then once those are filled the next people you sponsor will have to go downline from those you just sponsored giving the famous “binary spillover” effect that tends to attract a lot of MLM hopefuls to companies that use the binary payment structure. Since you get the benefit of begin able to count all the volume that is below you even if you did not put it there, what could be better than that? Of course the problem is that the new person who enrolls just to take advantage of being downline from a top recruiter soon learns that no matter how much volume is below them they get paid based only on the volume that they create in the other leg. With the Xocai comp plan they pay 10% based on the volume in the lesser leg. Now one of the other benefits of the binary pay plan that Xocai uses is that you can get paid as deep as the leg goes so you don’t’ have to worry about levels. However there is a limitation on volume in the Xocai comp plan, so you can only be paid on lesser leg volume up to $10,000 per week in earnings and then it cuts off. Well I guess that’s not a bad weekly paycheck. Keep in mind that there is also a “Cap” on commission payments in almost all binary programs. Since in a binary such as Xocai uses, one of the huge benefits is the fact that in an active leg there can be a huge amount of spillover volume and that everybody in that leg can in fact tap and get paid on the same volume, companies have to limit how much they actually pay out or they can find themselves in certain circumstances actually having to pay out more than they earned. So the binary “Cap” is designed to prevent this, and according to the compensation plan rules the company is obligated to only pay out a maximum percentage of the revenue and that’s it. Once they reach that cap in any given month they distributors only receive a pro-rated percentage of what they should have received based on the cap. With Xocai the cap amount is 50% which is actually a little on the conservative side for a hybrid-binary, since many companies go as high as 65% to 70%. Also I if you have your eyes on the big dollars with Xocai, you can get around the $10,000 per week issue on binary commissions because they allow you to enroll with 3 business centers and by placing those other 2 centers below you in your binary legs you can now build 4 total legs and you can generate up to $10,000 per week in commissions in each business center effectively tripling your Xocai income to a max of $30,000 a week. That of course is a much better neighborhood. The “Unilevel” part of the Xocai compensation plan kicks in when the people you have personally sponsored get busy and become an executive distributor, and then based on your own rank can earn a “commission check match” on what they earn in basic binary commissions. This match is shown to be an 8% check match going down 7 levels of executives in the Xocai comp plan. Confused yet? Actually once you wrap your head around it you will find it does make sense and there can be a lot of money in a hybrid-binary plan as evidenced by companies like MonaVie and eXfuze, who used a very similar plan to power their success. One of the top earners there Brig Hart, when MonaVie was at its peak, was generating by some accounts just short of a million dollars a month in income. Now of course Xocai does offer some other bells and whistles such as fast start bonuses when you enroll someone new and they buy product and they also have bonus trips to exotic locations and a car program, just in case the money alone is not enough to motivate you.

Xocai Review Summary

Well it actually looks like a pretty “sweet” deal. Sorry I just couldn’t resist it….. "Chocolate", "sweet deal", you get the idea. So what does the future hold for a chocolate products MLM such as Xocai? Well there are pluses and minuses to all deals of course. On the plus side, one of the biggest problems to holding on to your check once you have built an MLM is that is that if the 50%+ of distributors that will drop out don’t keep ordering the product then your check goes down and they only way to maintain it is aggressive long term sponsoring. With a chocolate product Xocai actually may have some very good consumption longevity. On the business side, of course all newer MLM’s such as Xocai tend to prosper since the network marketing industry has a insatiable appetite for “new” deals. However once the glow has worn off a new deal, and its business as usual, it can be hard for a company to keep up the momentum and compete with the new arrivals in the MLM marketplace. Now when the chocolate idea was brand new of course it was a mover, however I am not sure about long term. Now of course we could say that for any company in MLM. Xocai has done very well in the past and looks at least for the present to be continuing that growth.

Wealth Masters International Review - Too Good To Be True?

Wealth masters International is a Top Tier MLM company that has created some huge waves in the industry, paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in commissions and has been on the leading edge of what I would characterize as being one of the most successful companies in the Top Tier MLM industry. Wealth MastersHowever Wealth Masters has also been at the center of some big controversy and has made some major changes in its business model over the last 2 years so I wanted to take this opportunity to do an in depth company review on the company and see where they are today, and what prospects they have moving into the future. I first ran across Wealth Masters International in late 2009 right after I had begun to immerse myself into the world of internet marketing and began to study and implement various online marketing strategies. Now of course for anyone who has made the move into the world of online marketing they realize pretty quickly that it can initially be a somewhat confusing business model. Well maybe confusing is not really the right word, actually it’s more like being transported into the same type of alternate realities we usually see featured on science fiction movies. You know, the ones in which you go to sleep and then wake up only to realize that something is different, but then soon you realize as you do more investigation and go farther down the rabbit hole, that it’s an entirely different world that has always existed but somehow you never saw. That’s kind of how it happened with me. I had joined an online marketing and educational system called My Lead System Pro in mid 2009 and began studying online marketing strategies and was trying to get my arms around the very different marketing concepts of “Attraction Marketing”, “Funded Proposals”, and “Affiliate” income streams. In an effort to understand and compare online marketing sales approaches I began looking at what successful people were already doing online by studying the lead capture pages I saw whenever I did online searches. That’s when I started running into a company called “Carbon Copy Pro”. Now at first glance as Carbon Copy Pro seemed like just a slightly different version of an online marketing and educational system very much like My Lead System Pro, but there was something different about it. There seemed to be a lot of secrecy about what they were actually selling, but apparently there were a lot of people selling whatever they had and making a lot of money doing it. Humm…… a money flood, well that got my curiosity going! So I investigated further and found that even through Carbon Copy Pro was in fact an online marketing system very similar to My Lead System Pro, that there were some critical differences. My Lead System Pro was a completely generic system that you could use to promote any network marketing company and although Carbon Copy Pro claimed to be a completely generic system also, in reality almost everybody using Carbon Copy Pro was in fact marketing just one company called Wealth Masters International, and there were quite a few making over a million dollars a year marketing this company with some having reached those income levels in less than 2 years. In fact from the video testimonials I saw, there were also apparently quite a few who had generated $10,000 to $20,000 a month marketing Wealth Masters in their first month in the business? Now at this point they had my attention, but at the same time I had a hard time believing it. Look I have been in the MLM industry for over 24 years and have in fact made 7 figures a year and I know what the standard MLM business model can do and what it can’t do, and generating a 5 figure income in your fist 30 days is usually something only the very rare individual can do. Heck I could never do it! I mean even if you are a killer recruiter, It takes time in a standard MLM like NuSkin (NuSkin Review) or MonaVie (MonaVie Review), to get the critical duplication going that going to give you access to the several thousand people you need in your downline to give you those $10,000 monthly checks we all dream of. So how the heck were these people doing it? Now as I dug further down that rabbit hole it got even stranger. You know how you can buy a car, let say a nice black Audi A8 and you are feeling really special because no one else has one and then while you are driving home, you start seeing identical Black Audi A8’s everywhere. They were always there of course but you just weren’t tuned into them so you never noticed them. That’s what happed with Wealth Masters, now that the rabbit was out of the hat, I started seeing them everywhere. Two of the owners of My Lead System Pro Brian Fanale and Norbert Orlewicz had previously made fortunes with Wealth Masters, Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring fame, ditto. In fact it seemed that most of the big names in the world of online marketing were also marketing Wealth Masters. Darn, now I was starting to get mad…… It was like someone gave a money party and forgot to invite me! Wealth Masters International it turned out was a Top Tier MLM that had been around since 2005. Now I know a lot about the network marketing industry and the companies that flow in and out of it sometimes on a daily basis, so how was it that a major deal like this had escaped my attention? Well to put it in sci-fi terms again ( I love that stuff) it’s like that alternate reality or more exactly it was like a parallel universe, existing right beside our own but somehow invisible. You see Top Tier MLM’s like Wealth Masters, Family IQ (See Family IQ Review ), or Avant are not exactly a new business model in the MLM universe. I mean it’s been around for quite a while but it’s a different enough business model that it usually does not move in the same social circles as Standard MLM’s. People that are successful in Top Tier MLM deals tend to stay in that industry and since there are not as many Top Tier MLM companies, distributors that are in the standard MLM market don’t tend to run into them, and if they do and they like what they see, they never seem to return. So let me give you the hard facts on this Top Tier Network Marketing company.

Wealth Masters International

Wealth Masters is the brainchild of two partners Karl Bessey and Kip Herriage who formed the company in 2005. Wealth Masters products all revolve around financial education. There are three core products in the Wealth Masters International line, the M1 Program which sells for $1995, the M2 which costs $8995, and the M3 which goes for $13,995. The M1 is pretty much the financial education the average person never receives in their life. It is a physical program that is actually mailed out to the distributor and is in Audio CD, DVD, Workbook, and includes an online training component through the company website. The course covers subjects such as Developing a Millionaire Mindset, Understanding Money & Banking, Creating Your Blueprint For Success, The Fundamentals Of Wealth Acceleration, Breaking Down The Barriers To Success, Money Management, The BIG Investment Lie and Advanced Wealth Building Strategies. The M2 Product is the next step in the educational process and is a 4 day seminar conducted twice a year called The M2 Wealth Conference and goes in depth on some of the subjects covered in the M1 program and also includes material on gaining access to precious metals opportunities, access to private real estate investment forclosure strategies, asset protection strategies, and more. The M3 product is referred to as “The Private Wealth Group” and is a 5 day seminar conducted once a year at an international location. It covers many subjects such as Private Banking strategies, Insurance strategies, access to oil and gas exploration opportunities, IPO’s, a 1 year subscription to Kip Herriage’s private investment newsletter, and more.

Wealth Masters International Compensation Plan

The Wealth Masters International compensation plan includes a substantial front end commission paid directly to the selling consultant when a new rep enrolls and buys one of the Wealth Masters training products, a 5 tier MLM type back end residual compensation program that kicks in as you grow your group, and also a global profit sharing bonus pool. Now since you must buy the products in order, they do offer discounts if you buy them at the same time rather than one at a time, so the actual entry levels when a new rep joins are usually at M1 level for $1995, Platinum level (M1+M2) for $9,995, or Platinum Plus level (M1+M2+M3) for $19,995. So this of course is why they call companies like Wealth Masters International, “Top Tier MLM’s”. The entry level is much higher than a Standard MLM but that’s part of the magic, since when you enroll someone at one of those levels you actually make almost a 50% commission! The M1 actually pays a commission of $1000, the Platinum pays $4500, and when you enroll someone at the Platinum Plus level you earn $9000. Ah-ha you say, now you see how new reps have the potential to generate $10,000++ in the first month or two. Now even through a new rep or a “consultant”, as Wealth Masters calls them, has the ability to come in at any level and then bring in other reps at any other level, they are limited to receiving commissions based on the level they are at. That means if a Wealth Masters consultant enters the business at M1 level, they are qualified to earn M1 level commissions which are $1000. However if they enroll a new consultant at the Platinum Plus level, they would have made $9000 if they were at that level but since they are at the M1 level, they will earn $1000 and the other $8000 will roll upline to the next qualified M3. Good grief Charlie Brown! Kind of brings a whole new dimension to the concept of “Rollup” doesn’t it? Since this painful rollup can occur, new Wealth Masters consultants generally enter the business at the highest level they can afford, but also basing their decision on how much they want to earn per month. Obviously if you are at the M1 level and want to make $10,000 your first month you are going to have to enroll 10 new consultants, but if you are at the M2 level you could achieve that by enrolling as few as two and if you were at the M3 level even one new consultant in your Wealth Masters business could get you almost to you goal of $10,000. Now there are of course other elements to the Wealth Masters compensation plan, such as a 5 tier payout that can pay as much as $750 to the upline consultant as new consultants enter the business, and also the global profit sharing bonus pool. Now of course with a Top Tier MLM business model because the numbers you are dealing with are much larger, for consultants who build a good size group the profit potential can be massive. Now the average network marketing rep tends to look at big ticket programs like Wealth Masters and wonder how, if they have trouble enrolling people into their Standard MLM deal at $300 dollars, how in the world could you ever find someone who would be interested at $10,000 or $20,000? I think the answer to this is in taking a look at how people who are looking at network marketing opportunities tend to look at the money they pay to enroll into a MLM program. I think in today’s market Network Marketing is no longer a mystery, pretty much everyone knows that that there is money to be made in MLM, but they also know that it can be pretty difficult to achieve success, it can take quite a long time to build a big group, and that the number of people who actually get to the higher income levels of $10,000 or more are few and far between, and of course there are no guarantees. In this case I think the prospect tends to look at the money they pay as an expense rather than an investment since there is no guarantee that it’s ever coming back and even if it does they know it’s going to take time. Now of course people tend to watch what they spend so this is why enrolling someone into a network marketing business can be difficult even if the entry level is only a few hundred dollars. Now on the other hand, if someone looks at a Top Tier MLM business like Wealth Masters that is going to cost them let’s say $10,000, but based on the compensation plan they can easily see a way to recoup their money by enrolling as few as 2 or 3 new reps, then they see an achievable goal that could be executed within a reasonable period of time. I feel that in this case they tend to look at the money as an investment rather than an expense, and people can always find money for a really good investment. Actually in the real world to start any business takes money and generally a lot of it. So to someone who would happily pay $50,000 or even $100,000 for a business that had the potential to earn them $300,000++ per year, a Top Tier MLM like Wealth Masters is a pretty good deal. Also if you want a step by step business model that’s plug and play outside of the MLM business world, pretty much the most affordable national franchise you can buy today will cost about $35,000 for the license fee, not to mention build out and reserve cash requirements, and that’s for the right to spend the rest of our life working with teenagers in a fast food environment. Now it may seem like the target market for an MLM business like Wealth Masters would have a pretty specialized target market, but in reality it’s no different than marketing a traditional MLM. In today’s target rich environment there are no lack of prospects for the MLM world that the economy has dumped on their ears, i.e. business owners looking for a new plan A, corporate execs that have been dropped out of the economic food chain, Real Estate agents, mortgage brokers, and the list goes on and on. Many times these prospects look at network marketing as an option but sometimes have a problem getting their arms around a business model where there seems to be no real clear business plan to get them to their financial needs. Many need a real solution that can get them to $10,000 or more a month by next month not one that’s going to take the 18 months or 2 years that it can take in a Standard MLM. Now even though there are many Wealth Masters consultants who use Old School MLM building strategies (See MLM Online vs Old School MLM) to build their business I would have to say that the really huge incomes of $50,000 to $100,000++ a month are generally being earned by consultants using online marketing approaches to tap into a much larger prospect pool and then use technology and automation to leverage their businesses. This is the reason that so many of the top earning consultants in Wealth Masters were using online lead systems like My Lead System Pro and Carbon Copy Pro. That landscape changed in November of 2010 when Carbon Copy Pro who had apparently been eyeing the huge success that Wealth Masters was generating with its top tier MLM product, seemingly decided that they wanted into that part of the business as well, and developed its own Top Tier MLM product. Now even through Carbon Copy Pro and Wealth Masters International had no formal business partnership they nevertheless were pretty much in bed with each other and so their development of a competing product set off some huge shock waves in this marriage of convenience. Needless to say Wealth Masters was slightly ticked off and ended up drawing the line in the sand telling Wealthmasters Consultants who were using the Carbon Copy Pro funnel system that they could not market a competing product and of course that ticked off Carbon Copy Pro and suddenly there was a huge split between the two companies that kind of left the members in the lurch. Wealth Masters promptly setup its own in house online marketing system and Carbon Copy Pro went off to try to achieve fame and fortune marketing its own product. Now some consultants were kind of stuck in limbo for a while but actually after it sorted out very little changed. The bottom line here is that Carbon Copy Pro was simply a generic marketing, sales, and training funnel and although it was a very good one, there are many others in the market such as My Lead System Pro that are just as good if not better. Since in the world of online lead generation the marketing approaches are typically generic and never brand or mention the MLM company, for the consultants who simply switched to another system it was pretty seamless and prospects never felt even a tremor. In the corporate world companies often try to incorporate the functions of outside vendors to increase profit, this happens in the world of vertical marketing all the time, however it does not always work out as well as they anticipate. You see most companies are pretty specialized at what they do and if they have been doing it for a while they are generally pretty good at it. To assume that you can replace the functions of a key vendor and immediately gain the same level of expertise in doing what they did as a business is sometimes naïve. Carbon Copy Pro is a very good marketing system, but they have no experience being a top tier MLM company, conversely Wealth Masters International is a great Top Tier MLM but they have no experience in the world of online marketing. Over time they will probably both gain the skills necessary to make their new ventures successful but in the mean time it’s probably best for Wealth Masters consultants to work with a proven system such as My Lead System Pro. So what does the future hold for Wealth Masters International? Well they are a proven force in the Top Tier MLM marketplace and their financial message is very much tuned into where today’s turbulent financial market is. Kip Herriage’s (Co-Owner of Wealth Masters International) financial market expertise and forecasting skills are legendary, and their profitable Get Paid Today (GPT) compensation plan all point to the reasoning that that they will continue to do well into the future. One note here is that with a profitable front end compensation plan like Wealth Masters, many consultants get excited about making $10,000 or so a month by using traditional MLM low volume marketing approaches, and never take their game to the next level by incorporating high volume online marketing strategies. Since the Wealth Masters International has a very broad target market and can be marketing to prospects in any country in the world ( Wealth Masters currently has consultants in over 130 countries) it seems to be matched perfectly to a developing broad international marketing focus and using online marketing. Now regardless of what you are selling let’s face it, with approximately 1.8 billion people online today, the future of pretty much all marketing is online. Family IQ Marketing Secrets Does the FIQ Funnel System work?

I recently did a MLM company review on a new company called Family IQ that has been causing quite a stir in the MLM industry. Family IQ marketing secrets From my in depth Family IQ Review you already know all the general facts about the company, the product, and the lucrative Top Tier compensation plan, so now I want to review the marketing approach and sales funnel that most distributors receive when they join Family IQ.

Will the Family IQ marketing system work for you?

Can this fairly simple sales funnel and lead generation approach really stand up to the claims of master distributor Rod Stinson who supposedly uses several simple marketing approaches and a recorded tele-seminar to generate an average of $70,710 a month in income with Family IQ? Now it’s no secret in the network marketing industry that top earners in most companies routinely pull in staggering amount of money in monthly commissions, sometimes hitting one hundred thousand and more, with some even reaching mid six figures in monthly income. “Beam me up Scottie”…. I have stumbled into a parallel universe. Hey we all know that there are stellar performers in every industry and company, you know, those are the people we all admire and hate at the same time. They seem to be nice people but it’s those gaudy $87,000 monthly commission checks that just seem unfair! However what most people really want to know is, can they do it, can they duplicate whatever success strategy is being used by the top earners so that they have a chance at the golden ring. Well this is where the rubber meets the road, I could talk a long time about this issue and the reasons why some make it in network marketing and most fail but that’s for another article. See my recent blog post, MLM Success – The MLM 7 Figure Business Plan? What’s That? I will tell you that the single biggest reason that most people fail in MLM (other than lack of motivation and focus) is because of what I refer to as “Lead Poverty”. They just don’t understand marketing and how to generate leads so they keep dragging out their “warm market list” every time they go into a new MLM and badgering the same group of people until they finally join the “NFL” which means “No Friends Left”. To succeed in MLM you have to understand a basic marketing principle called “The Law Of Large Numbers”, which tells you that success is numbers related. That means if you put a product in front of a large enough group of leads, you will have lots of sales. It’s an input/output equation, the more leads you have, the more sales you have, and the more profit you have. So how do you escape from Lead Poverty and embrace the Law of Large Numbers? Now there are a lot of ways I coach people to do this, Old School MLM marketing approaches, Crossover Approaches, and Online Internet Driven MLM Marketing Approaches will all get you there. The bottom line is that with a constant high volume lead flow, you can’t miss.

So let’s review the specific marketing and lead generation approaches that the Family IQ marketing system uses.

The Family IQ “Funnel Marketing System” This is the core of the marketing approach and is a recorded webinar or teleseminar that features Master Distributor Rod Stinson doing an hour long opportunity presentation in which he goes over the concept of direct response marketing, talks about Family IQ & their Top Tier compensation plan, and shows his proof that the system works by featuring several photos of his dining room table covered in $1000 cashier’s checks. Now the Family IQ teleseminar is actually a pretty powerful video that really does the heaving lifting for the distributor. Although I feel it’s probably a little long, but it gets the job done and hits the prospect at the very beginning of the presentation with the huge income potential and then keeps hammering home the point. That is of course the beauty of the Top Tier MLM business model, you get the normal huge income potential of the long term residual income once you build a large group, but you also get big bucks up front. This presentation comes in the form of a replicated website that each new Family IQ rep receives that includes a hosted capture page with an opt in form, a video presentation, a basic autoresponder with automatic follow up letters already written and in place, and a back office with a simple lead and contact manager. This system is great for a new distributor since its all set up, and requires no technical knowledge on the part of the new rep. It’s pretty much plug and play. The Family IQ “Lead Generation Prospecting Software” Now this is one of the core parts of Rods Family IQ marketing funnel presentation which he mentions several times in the teleseminar as he talks about being able to generate thousands of free targeted lead daily to power your business. Now of course this hits home with lots of prospects since the single biggest problem of a distributor in the MLM industry is in fact generating leads and finding prospects, but the question is does this software really work? Well the answer is yes, I have actually had quite a bit of experience with software such as this and it does in fact do what it claims to do, that is to generate leads. This is actually a software program you buy at a discount and download to your computer. Once its setup you can direct it to use its search functions to scour the internet to find different classes of potentially interested opportunity seekers for the Family IQ business. The software then extracts a leads name and phone number from internet websites, online adverting portals like Craig’s list, or online classified advertising directories. Generally the biggest target market for these scrapers are going after people who are already in network marketing. This is easily done by just using any MLM company name as a keyword in the software and then pulling the names and phone numbers of distributors off of their company replicated websites. Since in today’s market everyone who joins a MLM usually gets a company replicated website it’s no problem to find lots of leads. Now two questions occur when using this type of a lead source and they relate to lead quality and to saturation. If someone is already a distributor for another network marketing company what are the chances that they will be interested in a different MLM such as Family IQ? Actually this is probably one of the best classes of leads you can go after since it’s a very targeted market. We already know this type of lead likes and believes in network marketing since they already are or were in the industry. So there are no long conversations trying to explain how MLM works, they already believe. Also since the MLM industry is so transitional and attrition rates run 50% to 70% or more, its more than likely that most of your leads are either not happy with their success so far, have already dropped out, or may even be looking for a new deal as we speak. On the saturation issue, the question is that if you have a several thousand Family IQ distributors all using the same software won’t they just be recycling the same leads or run the chance of actually running out of this type of lead? Well to answer this question you just have to take a step back and look at the big picture. Estimates of how many MLM companies are in the world currently range from 1500 to 5000 companies and the number fluctuates daily since so may fail every year and so many new ones start up. Big network marketing companies such as NuSkin, Herbalife, Amway, MonaVie and many others have millions of distributors each, and if we even conservatively estimate that an average network marketing company has 10,000 distributors then you could have as many as 50 million distributors out there as Family IQ prospects. Well I guess you probably are not going to run out of leads any time soon. Now you have leads, what do you do with them? Well that’s the next part of the Family IQ sales funnel system, once you have the leads, now you have to get the leads to the Family IQ replicated teleseminar that Rod Stinson does so they can view the information and decide if they want to join. Now the beauty of a using a high volume automated lead funnel system for Family IQ, is that once your prospect views the presentation, they will either be pretty much ready to go, or they won’t be interested, there really is no in between when you are using a high volume approach, they either see it or they don’t. The two main approaches that the Family IQ system uses to get your leads to the teleseminar are a direct phone approach called Dial & Ditch or an automated approach called Voice Broadcasting. Dial and Ditch for Family IQ leads With this approach you will use one of 2 scripts that you will download from Rod’s Family IQ training website and then you will actually call the phone numbers with the intention of leaving a short sizzle message on the prospects voice mail designed to get them interested enough in Family IQ to go to your replicated teleseminar website and opt in to view the presentation. That’s the Dial part. I taught this same approach years ago to my downline but at the time we called the approach “Phone Drops” and it really does work. Now the ditch part is that if someone actually answers the phone you just hang up. Now since most new reps are usually nervous about directly talking to prospects since they don’t know what to say, the idea of not actually having to talk to anyone appeals to them and so they like this approach. Now the one downside of this approach is that it takes time to do all those dials but the upside is that it’s free. My advice for anyone who feels confident on the phone is not to do the ditch part but to actually talk to the prospect on the other end of the line and use the same script. I mean you are already spending the time to do the dial so why not use the time effectively and actually talk to your live prospects. Since you will be building rapport with your prospect by doing a live conversation your conversion ratio from lead to Family IQ distributor is going to be much higher. Voice Broadcasting For Family IQ Now this is the automated way to use your Family IQ scrapper leads. Voice broadcasting is a form of telemarketing that uses a web based autodialer to deliver the same short sizzle message you were using in the dial and ditch approach but does it for you. You just set up an account with a voice broadcast service such as iBuzzPro, record your phone message, upload your lead list to the website, push the start button and boom! The automated system can deliver your Family IQ sizzle message to thousands of prospects in about 20 min or less. Voice broadcasting works, I have taught and used this marketing approach for years and have recruited hundreds of distributors using it. Response rates average from 1% to 5% depending on your message and several other factors but if you have some good training and coaching on using this type of system it a killer approach. You can setup a voice broadcast in about 20 min, it really takes no technical skills, and once you trigger the broadcast you will have leads flowing in that have listened to your message and are highly interested within 30 min. Its fast, efficient, and cheap. The prices vary widely on voice broadcasting from as little as 1.4 cents per connected call to as much as 25 cents or more per connected call. The systems with no setup fee charge more per call and the systems that are the cheapest to operate charge a setup fee of a few hundred dollars upfront. My preference is to keep operating costs down and to use systems like iBuzzpro which was specifically designed for the direct marketers. Another benefit for customers who subscribe to the ibuzz system is that they also have the availability of buying professionally scrapped leads for as little as $99 for 25,000 MLM leads if you don’t want to mess around with scraping the leads yourself. Two things to note here are that generally this type of telemarketing is regulated by the by way of what is called the National Do Not Call list and more recently by legislation that limited the use of these systems to call only consumers who have actually opted in to receive these calls, or business to business sales. The good news is that when you pull a lead off of the internet from a distributors MLM company website, that qualifies as a business listing since they are using that phone to receive calls about their MLM business. Ezine advertising for Family IQ This is another approach Rod’s Family IQ marketing system gives some training on, and of course it works. Ezines are the online equivalent of magazines and take many forms, ranging from newsletters to article directories, and many offer free or paid advertising where you can get an ad in front of thousands or millions of potential prospects and then redirect that traffic to your replicated website for Family IQ. One again this approach works well, I have taught and used online advertising for years and of course today that’s where the traffic is, online. With a little coaching on copywriting a good ad, you can generate lots of leads to power your Family IQ business. Postcards Marketing for Family IQ This tried and true marketing approach is also included in the Family IQ marketing training by Rod Stinson. Postcards or direct mail have been an effective marketing approach for years, but recently since more and more marketers have switched to online approaches there has been a drop in direct mail which actually makes it more effective than it used to be. Its costs more but it can also be done in small batches to control cost. So in conclusion and I can speak with some authority on this, these approaches that Family IQ uses do work. The only secret here is to actually do them, do them consistently, keep track of your numbers and adjust as you go. Most MLM distributors are very inconsistent with their MLM lead generation efforts and so even if they use a great marketing approach, if they don’t get instant results they throw up their hands and quit. Over the last 24 years I have spent in the network marketing industry they key to my success was the result of just a few critical factors, learning the Law of Large Numbers, high volume lead generation, and using effective sales funnels. It gave me the edge to master becoming a 7 figure earner in the industry. Now of course these same Family IQ marketing strategies can be used pretty much to build any company, however when you combine and effective high volume sales funnel approach with a powerful Top Tier MLM compensation plan like Family IQ has, it give you the ability to create some real magic (and income) pretty quickly. Using this type of a sales funnel system with a Top Tier program like Family IQ can give you the edge you need to get to those $10,000 monthly checks you have been waiting for. Then once you have mastered this approach, you can then take it to the next level by learning how to use online lead generation strategies and really start tapping the big numbers that have the ability to get you to the 7 figure MLM success ballgame. My Lead System Pro- Will It Save Your MLM Future or Kill it?

So let’s talk about My Lead System Pro, or as they used call themselves, MLM Lead System Pro.

My Lead System ProNow My Lead System Pro, MLSP for short, is the brainchild of Brian Fanale, Norbert Orlewicz, and Todd Schlomer, three apparent refugees from the world of traditional MLM marketing who launched the system in September of 2008. As I sat down to write this review about this MLM Online Marketing System and educational portal, I saw that there are many different approaches I could use to explain the system. I thought about just listing the different elements of the online educational platform such as the cutting edge weekly training webinars that My Lead System Pro (MLSP) puts on for members that are hosted by successful online marketers such as Cedrick Harris, David Wood, Ray Higdon, Nicole Cooper, Mia Davies and others. In these training webinars, these MLM marketing success stories share the intimate details of how they generate online traffic using Facebook, or Twitter, or Pay Per Click marketing, or Article Marketing or even video marketing and then ramp that into a literal flood of lead flow of 10, 20, 50, or even 100 leads a day using My Lead System Pro. It’s pretty magical stuff actually. My Lead System Pro is like having the online world deciphered and brought down to a level pretty much anyone can understand and of course copy. Then of course I would have to list the different elements of the online marketing system that “My Lead System Pro” also makes available to their members such as the “out of the box” lead capture websites that are ready to go on day one, or maybe the more advanced versions for the non-beginners where you and point and click and have 5 or 10 custom website sales funnels up and running in less than 20 min. Then there are the other elements of the My Lead System Pro marketing system such as the professionally written auto-responder messages, the video hosting capability, the affiliate income streams, and on and on. There is actually so much to the My Lead System Pro system, that just to list all the elements in a review would make it sound more like a tech manual than a valuable tool. So I decided to tell you a story instead. Humm….Where do I begin. I guess for me the journey into the world of high volume lead generation and automated sales funnels was not nearly the journey it is for a lot of people. I have always understood the concept of working the numbers to achieve success in MLM and I had even developed a low-tech, high-volume lead funnel system over 24 years ago and it was in fact that marketing approach that launched me to over 7 figures a year in the MLM industry. What took a little longer to understand about online marketing was the “Funded Proposal” concept and even a little harder was abandoning the “Pit Bull on the throat” approach to direct recruiting that I had been using for over 20 years and then trying to really get inside the “Attraction Marketing” model. But hey, I am getting ahead of myself so this probably all sounds like Greek to you so let me start at the beginning and tell you why I decided to use one of the top online lead generation systems in the market today, My Lead System Pro, and how I leveraged the system to sponsor over 60 people in to my primary MLM in just a few months using an online marketing approach and also in the process generated thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions. It was near the end of 2009 and I had been heavily involved for the last two years in building a team for a new MLM superjuice company when I had a moment of mental meltdown one night while experiencing the urge to karate chop my phone after having a lame discussion with an even lamer prospect who just did not get it. Yes I know we all have those moments, but hey, I have been in the MLM industry for over 23 years and I have been to the top, earning 7 figures a year for many years, so one would think I would be “oh so wise” and way beyond all that childish “telephone anger”. Well I hate to tell you this but even the so called Pro’s sometimes stumble around scratching their heads thinking “there has to be a better way”. I mean I knew what to do, I had done it for years, just polish off the trusty old “7 figure business plan” and get to work. I mean I had learned years ago that success in MLM is numbers related. The more leads you have, the more prospects you have, the more signups you have and so on. I knew very well that to hit top earning status in any company you had to be able to bring 10+ people to the table as new distributors each month and then sift that down to the 20% Percenters that would form the base of you income and then somewhere over the next several months hopefully hit a magical 1% Percenter, and then bam! Off to the races! So I had a well oiled business plan ready to roll that I had used many times before, however the problem was that what works in the marketing world changes from time to time. That marketing time warp had lead me from tiny 8 line sizzle newspaper adds 20 some years ago that would generate up to 100 leads a week, to the world of magazine advertising, then on to telemarketing machines, to fax blast advertising, to e mail marketing, to resume database mining, to internet job portal advertising, and so on, and so on, etc. The marketing world never sleeps and it always evolves. So there I was re-working some of my older approaches and hitting some good numbers but the volume just was not as high as it needed to be, and when the volume is not high it leads you to want to maximize your leads which leads to the urge to chase prospects and that invariably leads to the powerful urge to destroy you phone at some point after having some lame follow up discussion you know you never should have been having in the first place. Well shortly after my telephone meltdown I got a call from one of my downline team members in Miami who for some reason was all excited and stopped by drop off a copy of the “Magnetic Sponsoring” e-book by industry legend Mike Dillard. So I promised him I would read it but told him it was probably just some internet garbage so not to get his hopes up. Now at that point I was just about ready to pull the plug on the day and go to the beach but I started reading the 80 page e book and I have to say it had me within a few pages as truth after truth about the MLM industry rolled off the page. It talked about a world of “Attraction Marketing models”, of something called “Funded Proposals”, and of a powerful online marketing model. Now I won’t digress into details on what is said since I recently did a blog post on it but I will say that it was so right on target it was scary. I could instantly see the direction I needed to go with my MLM business Online………………. Later that day I started buying and studying ever course Magnetic Sponsoring had to offer, “Building on a Budget”, “Black Belt Recruiting” and “Traffic Formula 2” for starters. Within a day I knew exactly what needed to be done and as I poured through his course called “Traffic Formula 2”. Now I was a little disappointed that Mike Dillard did not actually offer an out of the box online marketing system but instead he was going to show you how to build your own. So I was over half way through the course when the thought occurred to me that I could build the system, but that someone in the internet universe had probably already done it. I searched the internet and then “bam” there it was, a My Lead System Pro capture page with a video of some guy called Cedrick Harris sitting on his porch in Tampa, FL with a lake in the background telling me how he was going to teach me how to generate leads online. So obviously I joined, and My Lead System Pro was in fact the missing link that I was looking for, an educational portal that would teach me how to tap into the power of the internet to build my business and the also supply me with the websites, lead capture pages, auto-responders, and everything necessary to capture and convert those leads to prospects and then to distributors.

Understanding key elements of the My Lead System Pro marketing system.

1. Just do it! High volume lead generation is the only reliable way to achieve success in MLM and pretty much the entire future of advertising is online. So either learn it now or learn it later, but there is no escaping it. Marketing and training systems like My Lead System Pro can do just that for you. 2. The Learning Curve: There will be a learning curve with the approaches you lean in My Lead System Pro, but it’s not rocket science, anyone can do it with a little study. The only trick is to not overwhelm yourself with too much information all at once and then try to go in too many different directions at the same time. Start with one online lead generation approach, master it to the point of sufficiency and then add an additional approach and so on. 3. Attraction Marketing Model: Systems like My Lead System Pro are generic and can be used to build any MLM company. Keep in mind that since you are not advertising your Primary MLM company’s name but rather are generating leads generically, systems like this are in compliance with any MLM’s rules and regulations no matter how restrictive. 4. Funded Proposal: I love this part, with systems like My Lead System Pro you will actually make money as a result of your lead generation activities whether or not the prospects ever join your Primary MLM. This is probably the only marketing system you have ever used that will actually generate a positive cash flow if you do it right. The “My Lead System Pro” system itself generates a monthly income stream when your prospects decide they want to use it and there are already several other affiliate income streams already built into the system so you don’t have to use brain cells to try to figure it out. In the early days of building your business, it’s quite possible that My Lead System Pro will probably throw off more cash flow than your primary MLM. // So, the question you are probably asking right now is…..

Is My Lead System Pro the missing element?

Is My Lead System Pro that critical part of the puzzle that is going to change the course of events in your MLM future and finally make you successful? Well maybe yes, or maybe no….. I guess the real magic is not so much in a sexy online marketing system like My Lead System Pro, that is without a doubt in my book the best of the online systems out there, but rather in finally understanding that success in Network Marketing is a numbers game of the highest magnitude. In my book trying to achieve success in a business model where 50%++ of the people drop out and even fewer still have the drive to treat this like a real business, by simply making a list of your friends and family and then trying to beat them into submission to join you in the business, is a little like taking a knife to a gunfight, your chances of survival or success are slim. However once you learn the law of “large numbers” and then embrace using leveraged marketing tools like “My Lead System Pro” that can do the heavy lifting (and sifting) for you then you are on the right track. Once you are on that path there is little doubt once again that the future of all advertising is pretty much online, and systems like My Lead System Pro can give you not only the education you need to understand what you are doing but also the technology to leverage your marketing efforts. Think of it like this, there are by last accounts 1.7 billion people online as of Sept 2009, now can you imagine just for a moment being able to reach out and touch just the smallest fraction of that traffic and direct it to your business? Pretty exciting thought isn’t it. So it’s probably time to start learning what you need to, so that can be part of your future. So what’s next? Click on the My Lead System Pro link to learn more.

Top Tier MLM vs Traditional? What is Top Tier MLM anyway?

Top Tier MLM, well how do I even begin to describe it? Humm….. well, it’s kind of like being transported into a parallel universe of Network Marketing, and in this universe the only thing that’s different is that you actually make money in your Network Marketing company in your first 90 days. Top Tier MLMNow if you have watched any science fiction (I love that stuff) you know the allegory here. A parallel universe is a reality identical to our own except…… Except for a just a few tiny things that are totally different. I mean if you somehow were magically transported into one you would immediately recognize everything, your wife or husband would look and be the same, the dog the same, the house the same, the backyard, everything the same except maybe one little detail, like when you check your bank statement and somehow there’s $10 million dollars in there. Now this is where you start running around the house yelling and screaming and waving the bank statement in the air muttering something about going to Tahiti, and suddenly you notice no one else understands what you’re so excited about. There seems to be nothing strange about it to anyone else, it’s just always been that way. Now I know what you are thinking, the other universe is looking pretty good right now and our first thought is probably….. Oh yes, TAKE ME THERE QUICKLY! However as science fiction teaches us, there is always a price to pay. When you change one factor in our reality then you give up something in return. Well back to the main point of the article, the Top Tier MLM business model.

What exactly is Top Tier MLM and how come you don’t know about it?

Well it’s been around for quite a while but it’s not as recognized as traditional or as I will refer to it, Standard MLM. Now Standard MLM’s are the ones that everyone is familiar with, like Amway, NuSkin, FHTM, MonaVie, eXfuze, etc. What makes a company a Standard MLM, is that the entry fee when you sign up as a distributor is generally only a few hundred dollars. Now because the entry fee is so small, even if you are a super recruiter and can bring 10 or 20 reps into the business each month, you are never going to be able to earn a full time income based on your personal efforts. That’s not how the Standard MLM business model is designed. To make money in that business model you need to build a team of several hundred reps to earn even a few thousand in residual commissions, and a group of 10,000 or more to get to the type of money that most people associate with good income in our industry. That means you are going to have to build a big team, and so establishing that magical duplication in your downline is critical to your success. Because of this, your success now depends on factors that are outside your direct control and even if you are really good and bring in hundreds of people to your opportunity, sometimes that magic duplication just doesn’t occur. We have all seen it happen, everything seems to be lined up perfectly and then bam! The market changes, the company doesn’t handle something right, there are endless possibilities that can go wrong. A textbook example of this would be what happened recently to the mega-viral MLM success story of the decade, MonaVie (See my blog update on MonaVie). Now that of course, that’s just part of the territory, some businesses fly and some die. It’s no different in MLM.

Now enter the world of Top Tier MLM

In the Top Tier MLM business model, everything is the same except that the entry fee to sign up as a distributor is higher. Generally, it’s in the range of $2000 to $10,000 or more. Now when you sign up a rep in this model, you generally get a 50% commission for sponsoring them, so you can generate commissions of $1000 to as much as $16,000 a transaction in some Top Tier MLM companies such as WealthMasters International, Family IQ, or Avant Now supporters of the Top Tier MLM model point out that this totally changes the dynamics of the MLM business into a much more powerful lucrative opportunity. Using a Top Tier MLM model, a person can enter the Network Marketing business, go out and prospect, and even assuming it takes them 2 or 3 months to really get their feet wet, they could be earning $10,000 a month within 90 days or so, even if no duplication occurs. I told you this was a parallel universe! This puts a distributor in the position of being able to earn a full time income right from the beginning. What an interesting concept! This Top Tier MLM model is primarily dependent on your own personal efforts, so it’s more of a direct sales business model with a residual tacked on to the back end of the compensation plan. Because the compensation plan is heavily weighted on the front end, the Top Tier MLM business model is also referred to as “GPT” or “Get Paid Today” (see my review of The CoffeeHouse Letter in the post “Is Network Marketing Dead”). Now of course it seems that the biggest barrier for top tier MLM companies to recruiting, would be convincing the average MLM person who has problems trying to talk a prospect into a $500 start up kit, that it’s just as easy to sell a $10,000 one. But is it really any more difficult? Take Franchising for instance, even in today’ turbulent economic market it’s booming! So there are a lot of people with money looking for opportunity and probably the cheapest franchise you can find is $5,000 to $30,000 and then you are married to the bricks and mortar. Now of course with a high ticket sign up kit the potential prospect pool is probably smaller but then again in a Top Tier MLM, you really don’t need to sponsor many people to get to 5 figures a month, maybe 3 or 4? Now historically you built a Top Tier MLM business the same way you built a traditional MLM: make a list, do meetings, advertise, etc. However the biggest boost to the Top Tier MLM business model has been the marriage of Network Marketing prospecting with online lead generation systems like My Lead System Pro, I mean if you have a large enough pool of prospects to pull from you can sell pretty much anything. Online marketing system allow you to tap into a global market of over 1.7 Billion internet users. In today market the big earners in the Top Tier MLM companies are almost all using online marketing approaches and automated sales systems to tap their markets. So which really is the best business model? Well I actually like them both. As I pointed out in my Blog Post “Is Network Marketing Dead”, the Top Tier MLM or GPT model offers a way to achieve the big money much faster, a few months as opposed to a few years, but probably tops out at about $100,000 a month. MLM takes longer but since your ultimate team will be bigger, the top incomes are much higher. To confuse things even more, there are many reps who actually do both. They reason that since not everybody is attracted to the same company or product, why not have both in your store? Now of course in the world of Traditional MLM or old school Network Marketing this is heresy, but in today’s market I am not so sure. For those in traditional MLM that love their company or product but realize that it could take a few years to build up the duplication, marketing both a Traditional and a Top Tier MLM is a workable hybrid business model that can provide front end funding so that you can afford to do the slower build on the other. In the final analysis, I love the MLM universe and there is something to be said for just about all the business model variations. However the confusing part of the MLM world is that with only minute variations in the business models (Unilevel, Matrix, Binary, etc), there are so many choices in companies, that most people make it just based on whether they like the product (not a good way to do it). With a Top Tier MLM, the business model is so radically different, that is doesn’t seen to suffer from the same type of competition in the mind of the prospect. They either see it or they don’t, and one big advantage is that they can generally see a more achievable path to the money, 2 or 3 months as opposed to 2 or 3 years. So dive in, make your choice and GPT (Get Paid Today) or GPT (Get Paid Tomorrow) or GPTT (Get Paid Today & Tomorrow).

MonaVie Review Update - Up Superjuice Creek Without a Paddle?

Oh MonaVie, MonaVie, MonaVie, by the gods of Network Marketing what has happened to you? MonaVieFor those of us lucky enough to have attached their wagon to a mega hyper-growth MLM money machine like MonaVie this is supposed to be the time where you sail off into the sunset and send postcards back to old prospects who never joined you telling them you are sorry they missed the boat. I actually knew one guy who would drip on his old prospects by sending them envelopes with small quantities of beach sand and a note telling them it was too bad they couldn’t be with him on the beaches of the world. Well as the wreckage and empty lifeboats started to float back to shore it is became pretty obvious that that ship sank. So what happened to the MLM success story of the decade? In a recent company review I did on MonaVie I cited them as an almost textbook case of the type of Viral Hyper-growth that is legendary in the network marketing industry. I mean let’s face it, MonaVie was a rocket ship that blasted from zero to over a billion dollars in sales in about 5 years. That explosive growth curve AKA “Momentum Growth Curve” ,is what is always spoken about in hushed revered tones by the MLM leaders after the big opportunity meetings as they ponder the future of their company. Yes it’s that rapid growth that creates fortunes in our industry for the lucky ones who got in early, and it keeps the rest of us pounding the phones ignoring the painful rejection form our friends and family because we know our turn is next. But is it? It seems that even if you have a reserved seat on that rocket it can explode and crash back to earth on you just like any other business. That brings us to the painful discussion about the Myth of “Walk Away Residual Income”. I know that this is heresy to speak of this, and it’s even stranger that it comes from a 7 figure earner who loves the MLM industry and who has in fact ridden those rockets. Look if you are going to bet the proverbial ranch on your success in this industry, I feel that you deserves to know the facts not the myths. Network marketing is a business just like any other business and as such is not immune to the laws of business gravity. You can’t go straight up forever, once you have tapped all your easy market and reached a certain point of saturation (I hate that word) generally at about $1 Billion in sales in the US market or approximately 1 million distributors, most companies will plateau and then fall back by 15% to 25% and then stabilize. However in some cases that fallback can be much worse. Now that does not mean it’s over, there is still growth especially on the international front but the go-go days of 35% monthly check increases are pretty much gone. Then there is that ugly word “Attrition”. That’s where your traitorous downline abandons ship and promptly jumps to other deals, taking your income with them. This is what is referred to as the “Leaking Bucket” effect that I wrote about in my review of the infamous Coffeehouse Letter, called “Is network Marketing Dead?” and why the Top Tier MLM business model has become so popular in the MLM industry. Even if a company is years away from stability there is always attrition, it happens as people lose faith in the business or just burn out, and it happens at regular intervals: 30 days, 60 days, 6 months, 1 year, 10 years, etc, etc. Because of this effect your residual income is not stable no matter how successful you are. The truth is that if you walk away after building a successful network marketing business at some point your income will start to fall. To maintain the level of income you want you will need to keep building year after year. But wait you say! I was told this was get rich quick and then retire! Sorry, it’s actually a business and you have to pay attention to it and continue to run it. But back to the main issue….

What did happen with MonaVie?

Well of course they hit the magic ceiling at about $1 Billion dollars and then began to stabilize and after a fallback that should have been it. However there were a couple of factors that made their business model unique that came back to haunt them and make the fallback very severe.

First, the MonaVie growth or duplication model was heavily product based and recruiting distributors through tasting parties was the mainstay.

Because of this and the way they positioned customers into becoming distributors they ended up with a huge base of distributors who were really not in the business. I believe that when the economy hit the skids recently and consumers lost jobs and had to cut back, the MonaVie superjuice got dumped. The other factor was the aggressive product give away strategy that pretty much every business builder promoted, of buying huge volumes of the juice every month and telling everyone to give away one bottle a day. Some MonaVie leaders it’s rumored pushed their teams to sign up for autoships of $1000 per month to feed this sampling model. This promotional effect swelled their volumes and once again, I believe that when things started to stabilize and fall back there was no reason for the business builders to maintain that huge monthly ordering volume since recruiting volumes slowed so much and they cut back also. The result was the ultimate double whammy! Alas, the market giveth and the market taketh away. From all evidence, it appears that within about 18 months of hitting their peak MonaVie had a huge unraveling of volume.

MonaVie’s Future Prospects?

Now I don’t want to give you the wrong impression here, MonaVie is still alive and kicking and by all accounts doing very well in a number of international markets, and there are a boatload of top MonaVie distributors that followed the money tree overseas and are now learning Korean, and other interesting languages. So what did we learn class? Well there are several conclusions you can draw from this:
  1. Network marketing is a business (a very high paying one) and just like any other business and you have to run it and pay attention to it.
  2. You should probably take a close look at the product, the market, and the duplication model rather than just base your decision on photo copies of your upline’s checks. Different types of products have different growth cycles and some work a lot better than others in the MLM universe.
  3. No matter what you do, when you are raking in the bucks, don’t spend it all. Keep your lifestyle the same and build your bank account for that rainy day. (OK so buy a sexy car or huge flat screen TV but keep it under control OK?) Too many top earners in MLM spend like drunken sailors and if the money flow stops, they’re broke.
  4. There are different business models in network marketing and each has a particular building style and set of benefits. (i.e. Standard MLM, Top Tier MLM, etc.). Understand your options before you make your choice.
